| Skin camouflage is used to conceal many skin conditions and disorders.
Conditions can include scarring, rosacea, port wine stains, leg veins, acne, erythema (reddening of the skin),loss of pigmentation (vitiligo), hyperpigmentation such as melasma, sun damage and age spots. Camouflage is also an extremely successful way to cover unwanted tattoos whether it's for a job interview or for a wedding day.
When correctly applied the skin camouflage becomes waterproof and can last 8-16 hours before the need to reapply. The psychological benefit to a person who has been taught how to successfully apply and manage their skin camouflage cannot be over-emphasised.
During a consultation I will take you through a skin match process to identify the correct colour and product for you. Once this has been achieved, I will then show you the correct application technique so that maximum benefit is gained from the product. A simple written instruction handout is also included. A consultation usually lasts one hour.
I have trained with the British Association of Skin Camouflage and have a full kit which includes four major camouflage cream brands - Dermacolor, Veil, Covermark and Keromask. Following your consultation I can arrange to order and send your product to you.
